About Me
When people ask who I am, I unashamedly tell them that I am a child of God. My faith is the foundation of who I am and what I believe. It is with strong faith and a love for all that I strive to conduct myself in both my life and my business.
I am blessed with a secure and happy marriage, and I am proud to have raised two wonderful children who have courageously established their homes in another country with their spouses and children. Being called “granny” is an absolute delight—what a privilege and honor it is to see our children’s children!
My Professional Journey – How I got to do what I love doing
My working career began while I was studying and working as a Radiographer/Sonographer. Life sometimes leads us down unexpected paths, and I am a lifelong learner, always willing to learn whatever is necessary to make life a success, living by my mottos:
“Nothing is ever lost in life but so much can be gained through the learning.”
“A person is never too old to learn!”
My passion for creating dynamic teams and developing people began during my seventeen-year tenure at a company where my role evolved significantly. During this time, I delved into the business world of finance, operations, and administration. I discovered the importance of growing and developing people within the company—an organization’s greatest asset. I also learned to think creatively, co-create a positive culture, and maintain that culture amid the inevitable changes in the exciting world of startups. Embracing and promoting Agile methodologies, I introduced Agile ways of working across various functions, fostering agility in business.
In 2006, I was introduced to the wonderful world of coaching, which opened my eyes to the myriad benefits coaching can bring to both professional and personal lives. My own career development and growth, while juggling the roles of wife and mother, were made possible by the support of the company’s coach.
My Coaching journey
In 2007, driven by my passion for coaching, I began my coach training journey with The Coaching Centre. In 2010, I had the opportunity to train as a Solution-Focused Brief Therapy Coach with Dr. Svea van der Hoorn (Solutions Surfers). Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is an evidence-based, pragmatic approach developed by Insoo Kim Berg and Steve de Shazar. In 2016, I achieved my International Solution-Focused Brief Professional Certification (ACTP) through Solution Surfers.
In 2018, I officially started my own coaching practice, providing Solution-Focused coaching and facilitation workshops to small businesses, NPOs, and individuals. My practice has since expanded to offer mentor coaching and supervision.
In 2019, I obtained my ICF Professional Coach certification (PCC). Since 2020, I have attended various coaching courses, receiving certifications in ACTP SF Fundamentals, Master Coaching, Mentor Coaching, Coaching Supervision, and Team Coaching from Solutions Academy. I renewed my ICF PCC certification in 2022 and received my EMCC Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) and Professional Designation at the Senior Practitioner level in 2022, as well as ESIA and ITCA-P accreditations in 2023.

In my work, I strive to uphold my core values of Faith, Love, Growth, and Harmony.

Personal Interests
In my free time, I enjoy walking in nature, reading, studying, writing (I love to journal), and gardening. I look forward to what the next season of life has to offer, the people I will meet, and the wonderful learning opportunities that life will bring.
